Scar Remedies & Long-time User Confessions
I had an epiphany this past week. Isolated events are sometimes perceived as chance events but I have realized that there is no such thing as chance, but rather we live in a God ordained world full of meaning and purpose. No matter is considered too small for God.
While washing a wine glass like a mad woman (that I can sometimes be), I cut my knuckle on my right hand quite severely so that I am now terrified to wash any glass. I needed stitches but my caring husband applied his expert first aid skills using butterfly strips, and I was rescued from the hospital waiting room. As it started to heal, I experienced such tightness of skin it was difficult to move it without any pain. Shelby, of course encouraged me to use her products on my scar, but I thought, what does she know? Shelby Naturals is for my face not injuries. I began to research on the net what I could do to get this injury healed and this is when I had the epiphany. The more I researched the carrier oils and essential oils to make my own ointment, I suddenly remembered that these same ingredients were in Shelby’s products! I dug out my products and refreshed myself with all the ingredients on the label and her website descriptions. Wow, I thought these really are excellent products!
Now don’t get me wrong. I have complete trust in Shelby’s line and have been using them for years. People cannot believe how old I am when I tell them. But I suddenly realized that I had become so used to her products and the results that they produced, that I kind of became complacent about it and forgot about what they were actually DOING on my skin. This injury also put me on the path of rediscovering another product that Shelby created that I use everyday, but I will save that for another article. Stay tuned for part two if you suffer from age spots.
